Tefal - "The Crepe Factory"
Helping Romanians never mess up a crepe again.
So what was
the problem?
There are pancake countries and there are crepe countries. Romania is the latter. And one thing our mothers have been struggling with is always messing up the first crepe, due to the pan not being heated enough.
With the special Tefal crepe pan, that's not a problem, as the red marker lights up when the pan is ready.
The solution
We created a mockumentary about an excentric rapper, played by local celebrity Alex Velea, who is just too fresh to use anything more than one time. Not even a pan. As such, he needs a pan that can make a first crepe right before being discarded.
Though controversial at launch, the digital video gained a small cult following and is recognizable in internet culture, be it in appreciation or irony towards Velea.
